Destination Jungle Summer Reading ProgramIt’s a JUNGLE out there (and we wouldn’t want it any other way!). Kids, ages 5-12, join us for stories, sensational crafts and snacks. 1-2 PM at the Bawlf Public Library. Register at the Library by August 4. Call 780-373-2485 for more info.

Greg Yuha Benefit BBQ & AuctionBawlf Community Centre, 1-4 PM (live auction at 2:30 PM).
Greg has lived with MS, a very debilitating disease, for over 20 years. He is travelling to India on September 12th, 2010 to receive liberation MS treatment. The travel and treatment are expensive and, as area residents, we want to lend a helping hand in support of Greg’s desire to receive the treatment.
Anyone willing to help can make monetary donations at your local Treasury Branch or at the Barbecue. The BBQ will be a free-will offering, with all donations and proceeds from the BBQ and Auction going to Greg Yuha MS Treatment Trust Fund.

Christmas Decorating ContestJudging to take place on Sunday, December 20th at 7 PM. Judges will include a Village ratepayer, a Camrose County ratepayer, and a member of Bawlf Village Council. First prize - $75; 2nd prize - $50; third prize - $25. Good luck!

Village clean-upMeet at the Fire Hall at 6 PM. Bawlf School will conducting an intial sweep of the village during the day, so evening work will primarily involve hauling of large items (trucks and utility trailers welcome). Post clean-up community get-together afterward at the fire hall. WATCH THIS SPACE for further details.
